Samsung SmartThings gets an update with new design and features

Samsung has just released an update to its popular SmartThings smart home app that brings a new design and a number of new features.

The updated design makes the app more intuitive and easier to use. The new Devices tab now has a more modern design, as well as the ability to switch between rooms using the tab bar.

• Ability to share routines using QR codes
• Quick Remote support for more devices
• Support for multiple smart home hubs
• More smart device panels on the Quick Dashboard screen
• In addition to these new features, Samsung also announced that it will be adding support for the Matter 1.2 standard to the SmartThings app over the next few months.

The update is already available in the Galaxy Store and Google Play Store.
