Galaxy AI is free until 2025

Samsung reminds users that the Galaxy AI features that were introduced with the Galaxy S24 will be available for free until the end of 2025.

This means that after 2025, users may have to pay for access to these tools:

• Web page summarisation: Quickly create short descriptions of long articles or web pages.
• Speech translation: Translate text and audio in real time from one language to another.
• Photo enhancement: Using artificial intelligence to automatically enhance photos.

Currently, similar AI services from other companies, such as Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, and ChatGPT, are offered for free with premium versions that offer advanced features.

So it's likely that Samsung could offer a basic level of Galaxy AI for free and then introduce a paid subscription with additional features called Galaxy AI+ or similar.
