According to the leaked information, Apple is developing a new "HomeAccessory17.1", which is likely to be a HomePod-like accessory with a built-in display and a powerful Apple A18 chip, just like the iPhone 16.

The code found in MacRumors indicates that Apple is working on a new "HomeAccessory17.1".

The new gadget, similar to HomePod, will have a 7-inch touchscreen display and run on a modified version of tvOS. This will allow it to perform various functions, such as playing videos, displaying information about the smart home, and making video calls.

In addition to the new home device, Apple may also introduce updated Apple TV models in 2024. These set-top boxes are likely to be equipped with a more powerful chip and improved streaming capabilities.
