The CH-47F Chinook is a modern version of the heavy transport helicopter developed by the American company Boeing. The CH-47F is designed to transport troops, cargo, artillery and casualty evacuation. It is equipped with two Honeywell T55-GA-714A turboshaft engines, which provide high payload capacity and speeds of up to 302 km/h.
The Chinook can carry up to 10 tonnes of cargo inside the fuselage or on external suspension. It is actively used by the armed forces of the US and other countries, including the UK, Canada and Australia, for a variety of missions.
