A known insider again hints that the base Vivo X200 will get a relatively compact size
According to the latest leaks, Vivo is preparing to launch a new line of flagship smartphones, the Vivo X200. Chinese insider Digital Chat Station once again hints that the base model X200 will get compact dimensions.
Here's What We Know
In one of his latest posts, the insider revealed that a compact model (around 6.4 inches) with a flat screen that has a resolution of 1.5K, 120Hz and an aspect ratio of around 19.5:9 is being developed. He also says that the smartphone will have the same, thin bezels around the display, and there will be a large circular module on the back with a triple 50-megapixel camera and a 3x optical periscope. Though DCS didn't name the specific model, it's probably talking about the base model of the Vivo X200 as it has previously reported similar specs about this device.
The smartphone is also rumoured to get the latest Dimensity 9400 processor, an improved image processing chip and an optical under-screen fingerprint sensor. While the older model, the X200 Pro, will get the same chips but with a larger, all-around curved 6.7-inch screen and will also get an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor instead of an optical one.
More details about the X200 and X200 Pro will emerge as we get closer to their unveiling, which is expected to take place presumably in October.
