Galaxy Ring price leak reveals that it will be a premium segment device
Ahead of the official announcement of the new Samsung Galaxy Ring smart ring, scheduled for 10 July, information about its price has leaked online. And judging by this data, the Galaxy Ring will cost more than the Galaxy Watch 6.
Here's What We Know
According to a leak from Dealabs, the device will cost €449 in France, which is equivalent to $487 in the US. This positions the Galaxy Ring as a premium product, exceeding the cost of competitors such as the $299 Oura Ring and the $410 Circular Pro 1.
The Galaxy Ring, Samsung's first smart ring, promises to enhance health monitoring capabilities by working in conjunction with the Galaxy Health app. The ring is expected to feature ECG and blood flow sensors, as well as sleep quality monitoring features. In addition, the Galaxy Ring could enhance Samsung's ecosystem by allowing you to control other Galaxy devices. For example, it can be used to unlock other Galaxy devices.
The Galaxy Ring will get three colour options - black, silver and gold - as well as nine sizes and the option to order a test set to determine the size. More details are expected at Samsung's Unpacked event.
