New WhatsApp feature will allow Meta AI to edit photos instead of users

WhatsApp beta 2.24.14.20 has a new feature that allows users to share photos with Meta AI.

The AI chatbot will analyse photos and provide information or context about their content. The new option will allow users to share photos with Meta AI and receive answers or even edit them.

Consumers will be able to ask questions about their photos, such as asking the AI to identify objects or places or provide context about the content of the photo. Meta AI will also be able to offer photo editing capabilities, allowing users to make changes to their images directly in the chat.

According to WaBetaInfo, WhatsApp is testing a new camera button in Meta AI chat that functions similarly to the camera button in regular chats. This addition will allow users to manually share photos with Meta AI, which was previously impossible.

The innovation is reportedly currently under development.
