New game from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio will 'surprise fans': it looks like the Japanese developers will return to the Like a Dragon (Yakuza) franchise
It is known that Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio is working on a new game and is already looking for voice actors. Fans of the Japanese studio are still wondering whether it will be a sequel to Like a Dragon (aka Yakuza) or whether the developers are preparing something completely new.
It seems that the community finally got the answer to this question.
Here's What We Know
Anime Expo attendees reported that at the Essence of Fandom event, Ryu Ga Gotoku representatives said that their new game will "surprise fans". It is separately emphasised that such statements were made in the context of the Like a Dragon franchise, signifying a return to the famous series.
"We can't tell you what kind of game it is but I will tell you ... you will be surprised."

WHAT IS RGG COOKING.
The latest instalment, titled Infinite Wealth, was released in January 2024 to critical acc laim and was warmly received by the public. However, the other games in the series are also very popular, so it's no surprise that Ryu Ga Gotoku is returning to Like a Dragon once again.
