Square Enix has released a new trailer for Life is Strange: Double Exposure, showing the interaction between Safi and Max
Life is Strange will be released this year: Double Exposure, a full-fledged sequel to the 2015 interactive adventure film. The action takes place several years after the events of the first game: Max Caulfield is studying at Caledon University in Vermont, where he meets new friends, such as Saffi. The new trailer reveals her personality and details of her friendship with Max.
Here's What We Know
Safiya Llewellyn-Fayyad, or Safi, is a poet and outgoing person who helps Max become more open-minded. One night, however, she is murdered, forcing Max to use her time-manipulation powers again. Instead of rewinding, she finds herself in a parallel timeline.
In this line, Saffi is alive (along with other changes), which would be good news if the killer wasn't still at large. Max tries to solve the mystery of his girlfriend's death by jumping between the timelines. Interestingly, Safi is the daughter of the President of Caledon, Yasmin, although it is not yet clear how this will affect the events.
Where To Play
After the release, the game will be available on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and PC. A version for Nintendo Switch is also planned, which will be released later.
When We Can Expect It
Life is Strange: Double Exposure will be released on the 29th of October this year.
