Norway reveals delivery dates and number of F-16 Fighting Falcon to be received by Ukraine
In August last year it became known that Norway was planning to transfer F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters to Ukarine. Now there is information about how many aircraft it will be and when they will arrive.

According to Defence Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, Ukraine will receive 6 Norwegian fighter jets F-16. Deliveries of aircraft are planned to be carried out this year. By the way, the partners will deliver about 80 F-16s to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. We are talking about 19 Danish aircraft, 25 Dutch and 30 Belgian. The first fighters will arrive in Ukraine in the near future.

F-16 Fighting Falcon is a multirole light fighter of the fourth generation. It was developed by the American company General Dynamics. Due to its versatility and low cost, the F-16 is a success on the international market. It is in service with 24 countries. The F-16 is the most mass-produced fourth-generation fighter. As of 2009, more than 4,400 have been built, and more than 2,500 were in service in 2016.
