Samsung Galaxy M55s has passed Wi-Fi Alliance certification and is ready for launch
Samsung is soon planning to introduce a new smartphone model, the Galaxy M55s, which will be an addition to the Galaxy M55 series. The device has already received Wi-Fi Alliance certification, indicating its imminent debut on the market.
Here's What We Know
According to the certification, the smartphone will support Wi-Fi at 2.4GHz and 5GHz and will run on Android, although the OS version is yet to be specified. The Galaxy M55s will be the first S-series phone in a long time, as the previous Galaxy M52, M53 and M54 models did not have S variants. This could be an indication of Samsung's desire to expand its range in the mid-price segment.
The new product is expected to get a 6.7-inch AMOLED Plus display with 120Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage. A triple camera including a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support are also expected.
