Inside Out 2 became the highest-grossing film in Pixar's history, earning $1 billion and $251 million in less than a month

We wrote that Inside Out 2 became the fifth highest-grossing cartoon in history. Now the cartoon has achieved another milestone.

Here's What We Know

In less than a month, the cartoon has raised $1 billion and $251 million. This made the film the highest-grossing in the history of Pixar. Before that, the record belonged to the second Super Family, which collected $1,242.

Now Inside Out 2 needs to overtake the following projects: Frozen II ($1,453), The Super Mario Bros. Movie ($1,361) and Frozen ($1,290). But we will soon find out whether it will succeed.

Inside Out 2 received a 90% freshness score from critics on Rotten Tomatoes and an audience score of 96% on Rotten Tomatoes.
