Everything you need to know about Star Wars Outlaws crime syndicates in an in-depth video from IGN
IGN channel has published a video that will be of interest to those awaiting the release of the Star Wars Outlaws action game.
Here's What We Know
The video tells about criminal syndicates that Kay Vess will encounter. Their relationship to the protagonist is not predetermined and develops depending on the player's actions. They can become both allies and sworn enemies, and even set a bounty on Kay's head.
The protagonist will cooperate with many criminal organisations, the most famous of which will be the Hutt Cartel, led by the famous Jabba the Hutt. His criminal empire is located on the planet Tatooine and aims to make as much money as possible, without paying attention to what you have to do for the sake of it. Members of the syndicate are easily recognisable by their clothes: they are the dirtiest and most worn out in the Galaxy.
Another powerful faction is the Pyke Syndicate, which was introduced in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. In the game, the members of this organisation are somewhat different from themselves in past projects and look more like a paramilitary group and wear uniforms in blue colours with patterns indicating that they belong to a particular unit. The Pikes are in good standing with the Imperial government and are practically untouchable.
The Crimson Dawn Syndicate, led by Lady Qi'ra, familiar from Han Solo: A Star Wars. Solo: A Star Wars Story, the organisation prefers to operate covertly and engages in espionage and information trafficking. Members of this organisation can be recognised by their stylish, practical and, most importantly, clean clothes.
Star Wars Outlaws will also feature a brand new syndicate - Ashiga Clan. It was created especially for the game by the developers from Massive Entertainment studio in cooperation with LucasFilm. The image of Ashiga representatives reminds of traditional Japanese culture: they follow their own code of honour, wear samurai-like clothes, use heavy armour like samurai, and do not strive for enrichment and power like their "colleagues" from other syndicates. The Ashiga clan is focused on its own development and only controls a small territory. Notably, the syndicate is made up of members of the insect-like Melitto race, who have no eyes.
The heroine of Star Wars Outlaws will not cooperate with the Zerek Besh syndicate, as its members are hunting Kay Vess and will become her main enemies. This criminal organisation is led by the powerful Slyro (Zerek Besh), whose goals and motives are not fully known.
This is a very dangerous syndicate and even the appearance of its fighters inspires fear.
When We Can Expect It
Star Wars Outlaws will be released on 30 August on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
