HMD Skyline has appeared in renders in pink and black colours
HMD Global is working on a new smartphone called HMD Skyline, inspired by the classic Nokia Lumia 920 design and an official render of the new product seems to have appeared on the internet.
Here's What We Know
A recent render published by Belgian retailer as well as whistleblower @Sudhanshu1414 showed a device with a rectangular aesthetic, prominent bezels and sharp edges reminiscent of Lumia's Fabula design. The rear panel houses a rectangular camera module with three lenses and LED flash. The phone will be available in at least two colours: black and pink.
According to rumours, the HMD Skyline will feature an FHD+ OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor. The primary camera will get a 108 MP sensor along with an ultra-wide angle lens and a macro or depth sensor. The front camera will have a 32 MP resolution.
The device will get a 4,900mAh battery with 33W fast charging support and IP67 dust and water resistance. It is also expected to have an under-screen fingerprint scanner and stereo speakers. The smartphone will run Android 14 and will cost around 520 euros for the 8/256GB storage version. The HMD Skyline is expected to be released as early as this month.
