Apple is beta testing iOS 17.6

Apple has cancelled the release of iOS 17.5.2, which was scheduled for the near future. The update was supposed to carry the build number 21F101 and would probably focus on bug fixes and performance improvements rather than introducing new features.

Here's What We Know

The reasons for the cancellation are unknown. Apple is now focusing on beta testing iOS 17.6, as well as iOS 18, which is expected in the autumn. iOS 17.5.1 was the last iPhone update released on 20 May 2024 to fix a database corruption issue that caused photos to be deleted from the Photos app.
