Czech Republic to launch production of ammunition and rifles in Ukraine
The Prime Ministers of Ukraine and the Czech Republic signed agreements on joint production of assault rifles and ammunition.

Under the new agreement, the Czech company Sellier & Bellot, together with Ukroboronservice, will launch a new ammunition plant in Ukraine to meet military needs. In addition, Colt CZ Group assault rifles will be produced in Ukraine - a corresponding agreement was signed between Česká zbrojovka and an unnamed Ukrainian company.
During the meeting, they also discussed the Czech initiative to purchase artillery shells for Ukraine. 15 countries have already joined in financially. The first 50,000 shells have already been delivered, and some of them are already at the frontline.
In addition, in 2024, 1,700 Ukrainians will undergo military training in the Czech Republic, and more than 6,000 Ukrainian soldiers have been trained in total.
