Google has long used Samsung components in its Pixel smartphones, and this trend will not change in the upcoming Pixel 9 series.
Here's What We Know
According to recent reports, the Pixel 9 phones will once again use Samsung ISOCELL camera sensors.

Camera sensors in the Pixel 9 series
- Pixel 9: Main camera - 50 MP ISOCELL GNK, front camera - 10 MP ISOCELL 3J1, ultra-wide-angle camera - Sony IMX858.
- Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL: Main camera - 50 MP ISOCELL GNK, other cameras - 50 MP Sony IMX858 (wide-angle and telephoto), front camera - Sony IMX858 with autofocus.
- Pixel 9 Pro Fold: Front camera - 10 MP ISOCELL 3K1, ultra-wide-angle camera - 12 MP ISOCELL 3LU, telephoto camera - 10.5 MP ISOCELL 3J1, main rear camera - 64 MP Sony IMX787.
These new phones will be the first in the Pixel line to support 8K 30fps video recording. Although the Pixel 8 series phones also had powerful sensors and chips, Google decided not to use their capabilities to the fullest.
