The number of players of the peak online shooter Once Human on Steam increased to 231 thousand.

Despite the controversy surrounding the Terms of Service and data policy, Starry Studio's Once Human has reached a new milestone on Steam in terms of player numbers. After surpassing 131,000 players at launch, it peaked at 231,668 concurrent players just two days ago. In the last 24 hours, the number of players in this survival sandbox has surpassed 200,000, showing sustained interest in the game after an initial weekend surge.

Here's What We Know

Once Human launched to mixed reviews from players, initially receiving 59 per cent positive reviews out of 8,959 on Steam. However, it has since garnered 26,886 user reviews, 67 per cent of which are now positive (although the overall score remains "Mixed"). Despite the initial reception, the game has been very successful for Singularity Studio Group and its parent company NetEase.

The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where players play the role of meta-humans fighting against a stardust invasion. The game includes base building, crafting, looting, survival mechanics, vehicles, and much more for players to explore. Check out our review, where we gave the game a score of six out of ten.
