Nio is developing a new smartphone with 100W charging capability

Chinese electric car manufacturer Nio entered the smartphone market late last year with the Nio Phone model, and now it seems to be working on a successor to the device.

Here's What We Know

The brand's new smartphone has been spotted in the database of Chinese certification agency 3C. The smartphone passes with the model number N2401. According to the documents, the gadget will support fast charging with 100W of power. In comparison, the original model comes with 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

Unfortunately, there is no other information about the smartphone yet. We can only assume that the Nio Phone 2 will be equipped with a top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, a 5,000mAh battery and an AMOLED display with an increased refresh rate.

When We Can Expect It

If rumours are to be believed, the Nio Phone 2 will be released in August or September.
