Google confirms changes to the Pixel 9 Pro camera

Google has officially confirmed the existence of the Pixel 9 Pro smartphone, ahead of the Made By Google live stream scheduled for August. This event followed a series of leaks when images and videos of the phone began to appear on the Internet.

Here's What We Know

The company confirmed the existence of the smartphone with a short video, which was apparently scheduled for 13 August. The video doesn't reveal many details, but it does contain some footage of the phone in action, which confirms one of the main leaks about the Pixel 9 Pro. The absolutely gigantic camera unit does exist.

In addition to the camera, Google's video demonstrates tight integration with the company's Gemini artificial intelligence models. The marketing text accompanying the video simply says "hello, AI", and the video itself shows the chatbot responding to a query.
