Apple unveils new Immersive Video content coming soon to Vision Pro
Apple has announced plans to release new Immersive Video content for Apple Vision Pro this year. A new series called Submerged will premiere for Apple Vision Pro users this week.
Here's What We Know
Apple says that "Submerged" will allow viewers to experience once-in-a-lifetime travel wherever they are through the Immersive Video experience on Vision Pro.
In August, Apple will release the next instalment of its wildlife documentary series about nature on Vision Pro. In September, the company says it will release "Elevated," a new series about air travel that takes viewers to iconic views from stunning heights.
Short films:
- Submerged: This immersive short film, shot in Immersive Video, takes viewers inside a submarine during World War II.
- NBA Rising Stars 2024: This exclusive film gives basketball fans a new perspective on the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend.
- The Weeknd: Apple Music Award winner The Weeknd returns with a new exclusive experience for Apple Vision Pro.
- Red Bull: Big Wave Surfing: Feel the power of the ocean as elite surfers conquer some of the most dangerous waves in the world.
The corporation announced a new partnership with Blackmagic Design to enable professional filmmakers to create Immersive Video content using a new workflow.
More TV series, films, concerts and sports broadcasts are expected to be released in Immersive Video format throughout the year.
