Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo questions rumours of significant increase in iPhone 16 shipments
Apple and its suppliers are actively preparing for the autumn release of the iPhone 16. However, despite recent rumours of a significant increase in supply, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo expressed doubts about this.
Here's What We Know
Kuo noted that some suppliers have seen an increase in orders for the second half of 2024, but overall, the number of orders remained around 87 million units, slightly less than the 91 million units of the iPhone 15 in 2023.
New iPhone 16 features
The entire iPhone 16 lineup is expected to receive the new A18 chip, which will support Apple Intelligence. This could be a key factor for many users to upgrade, especially if the new chip appears in the base iPhone 16 model.
Autumn is already close, so we will soon find out what new things Apple has prepared.
