Google's popular Gboard keyboard may soon get a new feature that will allow users to change the font. This option is currently under development.
Here's What We Know
According to APK analysis, this feature will allow users to switch from the default Google font to the system font.
This will not allow users to choose any custom fonts for Gboard. Instead, they will be limited to switching to the system default font. This means that users will not be able to use custom or third-party fonts.
Only a few Android manufacturers, such as Samsung and OnePlus, offer support for multiple fonts.
