Design and features like iOS 18 and HyperOS: details about the One UI 7 shell have surfaced online
Insider @chunvn888888 shared some details about the new Samsung One UI 7 shell.
Here's What We Know
If the leak is to be believed, One UI 7 will get significant visual changes inspired by iOS 18 and HyperOS. The most noticeable change will be the icons, which will have a rounded shape with a subtle 3D effect like in macOS or VisionOS. Additionally, users will be able to customise quick actions on the lock screen.
As promised, here are (so far) OneUI 7 features Sammy will introduce at SDC24.

TLDR: you expect OneUI 7 to be heavily inspired by iOS 18. pic.twitter.com/SicX4D8mvK
Also in One UI 7, Samsung plans to dramatically change the notification panel. It will get an iOS 18-style design and will be split into two parts: swiping down from the top right corner will bring up quick toggles, while swiping down from the top left will bring up notifications. The leak also mentions a redesigned camera app with a simplified menu system and a new Gallery app.
When We Can Expect It
Samsung is expected to unveil One UI 7 at the SDC conference in October.
