From the swamps of Louisiana to the mountains of Colorado: the developers of Hunt: Showdown presented a new map Mammon's Gulch and talked about the main innovations of the biggest update

Crytek studio presented a cinematic trailer of the biggest add-on for the popular online shooter Hunt: Showdown, after the release of which the game will be subtitled 1896 and will no longer be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as become a little cheaper.

Here's What We Know

First of all, the video is dedicated to the new map Mammon's Gulch - an atmospheric location, which for the first time will take players not to the swamps of Louisiana, but to the mountains of Colorado.

The map is focused on vertical gameplay, but two mountainous areas are connected by underground mines, and there will be 16 points of interest on Mammon's Gulch.

With the release of Hunt: Showdown 1896, thanks to the transition to a more modern version of the engine, the game will have new features and high-resolution textures, improved performance, graphics and lighting quality. Crytek will also improve the soundtrack.

On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, players will be offered support for native 4K at 60 fps (2K at 60 fps for Xbox Series S).

When We Can Expect It

Hunt: Showdown 1896 will release on 15 August on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
