A leaked UK operator database hints at the imminent announcement of the Samsung Galaxy A16

Samsung will soon unveil a new Galaxy A16 smartphone, which will be the successor to the Galaxy A15. This is evidenced by a leak from the database of one of the British telecom operators.

Here's What We Know

The website of one of the largest telecom operators in the UK, EE, has revealed eight variants of the Galaxy A16 with model numbers SM-A1660, SM-A166B, SM-A166E, SM-A166M, SM-A166P, SM-A166U, SM-A165F and SM-A165F DSB. The Galaxy A16 will be available in 4G and 5G variants. Models with "6" in front of the last letter or number denote 5G-enabled versions, while those with "5" denote 4G or LTE-enabled versions.

It is known that the smartphone will support two SIM cards. The device will get three cameras: a 50 MP main camera, a 5 MP ultra-wide and a 2 MP macro. The front camera will have a 13 MP resolution. The Galaxy A16 will feature a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. Samsung is expected to present the novelty in the near future.
