A security update is available for the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE in the US and Latin America

Samsung smartphones continue to receive the July security update and this time the update is available for Galaxy S21 FE users in the US and Latin America.

Here's What We Know

The new update comes with firmware version G990EXXXSAFXG3 in Brazil, Guatemala, Panama, Panama, Paraguay and Trinidad and Tobago. In the US, the update is available for the carrier-locked version of the phone with firmware version G990USQSCGXF3 on AT&T, Comcast, Dish Wireless, US Cellular and Xfinity Mobile networks.

For the US factory unlocked version of the Galaxy S21 FE, the new update comes with firmware version G990U1UESCGXF3 for the SM-G990U1 or G990U2SQSAGXF3 for the SM-G990U2.

The new update contains a security patch for July that addresses more than 50 vulnerabilities in the system. Other than the security enhancement, the update doesn't bring any improvements at this time.
