Galaxy XCover 6 Pro will receive a security update in July 2024 in the US

Samsung is releasing the July security update for the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, which it introduced two years ago.

Here's What We Know

The security patch includes fixes for 58 vulnerabilities and is available for the unlocked variant of the phone in the US with model number SM-G736U1. The security update will soon be available for other variants.

The firmware version is G736U1UES7EXF3. Users will receive an automatic notification when the update is available.

How to enable

If there is no notification, you can check manually:

  • Go to the settings,
  • select "Software update",
  • then click Download and Install.

You can also download the firmware from the official Samsung database and install it using Odin on a Windows PC. Be sure to back up your data before installation.

Samsung is developing One UI 7.0 based on Android 15, which will also be available for the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro by the end of the year.
