HMD Global is preparing to rebrand the Nokia 225 4G phone
According to a leak from an HMD Meme insider, HMD Global may be preparing a rebranded Nokia 225 4G handset. The leak reveals the specifications of the new HMD 225 4G device, which are almost identical to those of the Nokia 225 4G released earlier this year.
Here's What We Know
The HMD 225 4G will feature a 2.4-inch IPS LCD display with 400 nits of brightness and a Unisoc T107 processor, which is often used in budget phones. The camera will have a resolution of 2 megapixels and HD video recording capability. The battery capacity will be 1450 mAh and there will be USB-C support.

Other specs include: Bluetooth 5.0, 4G LTE, dual SIM support, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack and IP52 dust and water protection. Given the similarities in specs, it is speculated that the HMD 225 4G could be a strategic rebranding for certain markets. HMD Global has previously launched some Nokia models under its brand in select regions.
