Ming-Chi Kuo: iPhone SE 4 and iPhone 17 Slim will be the first to get Apple's proprietary 5G modem

We have already written many times that Apple plans to install a proprietary 5G modem in its devices. Now we know which iPhone models will get it first.

Here's What We Know

According to insider and analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will refuse Qualcomm's 5G-modem in the iPhone SE 4. The new product will come with a proprietary modem for the fifth-generation network. If everything goes according to plan, the novelty will be shown in the first quarter of 2025.

Apart from the iPhone SE 4, Apple is also planning to install a proprietary 5G modem in the iPhone 17 Slim. The new product will replace the iPhone 17 Plus and will hit the market in the third quarter of 2025.

Unfortunately, there are no specifications of Apple's 5G modem yet.
