Shutterstock and Getty Images launch new AI services for fast 3D asset and image creation with NVIDIA support

Shutterstock and Getty Images have introduced new NVIDIA-powered services for creating 3D resources and images.

Here's What We Know

Shutterstock has announced a commercial beta version of Generative 3D, which allows you to quickly create 3D assets and 360 HDRi backgrounds using text descriptions or images. This service provides fast prototyping and background scene creation using generative artificial intelligence trained on licensed data.

Getty Images has updated its Generative AI service, now with improved image speed and quality. The new service allows you to create images twice as fast and provides advanced control over camera parameters such as depth of field and focal length.

Both services leverage NVIDIA Edify and NVIDIA NIM technologies to maximise performance. Shutterstock is showcasing its service at the SIGGRAPH conference, while Getty Images is offering new capabilities through its website and API.
