A creative video from Blizzard showed all the stages of creating a new Spiritborn class for Diablo IV

Blizzard has released another video dedicated to the Vessel of Hatred add-on for Diablo IV.

This time the developers showed neither gameplay footage, nor traditional spectacular cinematics. The company creatively talked about the creation of Spiritborn class, which will be the main innovation of Vessel of Hatred.

Here's What We Know

The video is stylised as working notes of artists, designers and other developers. In two minutes all the stages of class creation are shown - from thinking over the concept to capturing movements and working out the animation.

As a reminder, Spiritborn will be the fastest class in the Diablo franchise and can summon the spirits of a jaguar, gorilla, eagle, and giant centipede. Each of the animals has many unique abilities and they can be freely combined, which will give the most unpredictable effects on the battlefield.

When We Can Expect It

Vessel of Hatred will be released on 8 October simultaneously on PC (Battle.net and Steam) and PlayStation and Xbox consoles of both current generations.
