UFL, a free-to-play football simulator, will host a second open beta test on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series from 2 to 4 August
For many years, the most popular sports simulator has been FIFA developed by EA, but now the studio's games are called EA Sports FC 24. However, there are other companies that would like to repeat the success and create their own virtual football. That is why Strikerz has been developing a free football simulator UFL on Unreal Engine since 2016. Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo invested $40 million in the project. The game is going to undergo a second beta test very soon.
Here's What We Know
The second open beta test of the free-to-play video game UFL will take place from 2 to 4 August, and the pre-load has been available since 30 July on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. UFL will introduce new in-game features and meta-mechanics to enhance the gameplay experience, including an updated club reputation system, perk system and card skins.
It also became known that more than 1.3 million people tried the game during the first beta test.
According to the developers, most of the problems that players pointed out in their feedback after the first open beta test have been fixed.
During the open beta, players will have the opportunity to participate in the main online mode, where they can compete with other players from around the world. Players can also try the offline local match mode, which allows them to compete with friends on the same console.
Together, UFL will support cross-play between PS5 and Xbox Series.
