Fewer players, more drive: EA Sports FC 25 developers talk about the new Rush mode

Electronic Arts presented a gameplay trailer of EA Sports FC 25 football simulator dedicated to the new Rush mode.

Here's What We Know

Fundamentally, the rules in Rush will remain the same as in the standard EA Sports FC matches, but the teams will consist of only five players, and the games will be shorter.

Another interesting nuance will be the absence of red cards, and as a punishment players will be temporarily suspended from the field and the team will have to do without them. If extra time is needed in Rush, the Golden Goal rule will apply: the team that scores the first goal will be the winner.

Rush mode will be available during Career, Clubs and Ultimate Team.

In Ultimate Team, you can play Rush with other players by selecting one of your team's players. You'll be able to communicate with other players using pre-made beeps to thank, apologise or request a pass from a teammate.

When We Can Expect It

EA Sports FC 25 will be released on 27 September on PC (Steam, EGS, EA App), PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
