EA CEO said that 25 million people have played Battlefield games over the past year. Wilson did not specify which games were the most popular, but we can assume that first of all it was about Battlefield 2042.

The developers put a lot of effort into the game to fix all the flaws and, several years after the failed release, they managed to regain the interest of gamers and revitalise Battlefield 2042.

Andrew Wilson said that Battlefield is one of Electronic Arts' top priority franchises and the company has high hopes for the new instalment, which will be "one of the company's most ambitious projects".

According to him, the game is being developed by "the best specialists" and they are using the most advanced technologies. Wilson did not reveal any details of the new Battlefield, but according to unconfirmed information in the centre of attention will be the Southern Europe and a girl from Croatia: alleged details of Battlefield's new story campaign have been revealed, and the release of the game will take place at the end of 2025.
