Microsoft removes ads from Skype and introduces new AI and OneAuth features

Microsoft has announced the end of advertising on Skype as part of a new update. Now there will be no ads in chats and channels on the platform, which will make the service cleaner and more convenient.

Users can remove the news tab with the feed if they wish.

The update also includes a new AI image editor that has an intuitive interface and allows users to edit images directly from the chat. Images now expand on click.

In addition, Microsoft is integrating OneAuth into the Skype iOS app for easy passwordless sign-in, which is already available for Android. The update will be rolling out in the coming days to all users of the Skype review app.
