Water fun, pools and crazy rides: Planet Coaster 2 developers talked about building water parks and showed gameplay footage

Frontier Studios has published a video about the development of Planet Coaster 2 - sequel of the highly appreciated amusement park construction and development simulator.

Here's What We Know

In the video the developers reminded about the main innovation of Planet Coaster 2 - water parks.

Players will be able to create their own pools, water tunnels and other entertainment related to water. They can be constructed both from pre-prepared elements and set their configuration independently.

It is allowed to change the colour, materials, decoration and other parameters of the attractions. The process of building an amusement park was simplified, compared to the first part, but the basic mechanics and features remained unchanged.

You can admire your creation both from above and from the first person - through the eyes of one of the visitors.

In the second part the developers will retain all the distinctive features of Planet Coaster - players need to carefully think over the theme of the park, control the construction of each attraction, monitor safety, competently develop business and attract as many visitors as possible.

In Planet Coaster 2 developers will add a full co-operative mode, which will allow you to build an amusement park in two, and it will be possible in modes "Career", "Sandbox" and "Franchise". Users of different platforms will be able to play together.

When We Can Expect It

Planet Coaster 2 is expected to release in autumn 2024 on PC(Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
