Political infighting is more dangerous than an ice age: Frostpunk 2 developers spoke about the cunning of City Council members and the threat of civil war
Polish studio 11 bit continues to reveal interesting details about the strategy game Frostpunk 2.
The developers have published the fourth instalment of the City Unbound series, in which they told about the main danger of the post-apocalyptic society - infighting and political struggle.
Here's What We Know
Game director and design director of Frostpunk 2 Jakub Stokalski reminded about the main innovation of the sequel - City Council. There will be representatives of different political parties and social movements in it, and every decision made by the player will cause discontent of one of the parties. The Council will put pressure on the player, forcing him to make decisions that please specific leaders and often they will go against the real needs of the population.
Because of the player's actions in the strategy may well break out into civil war, so in Frostpunk 2 it is necessary to constantly monitor the mood in society and the bills that are submitted to the City Council.
When We Can Expect It
Frostpunk 2 will be released on the 20th of September. The game will initially only be available on PC, but will later be released on consoles as well, and will be available in the Game Pass catalogue from day one.
