Samsung is working on Galaxy A16 5G with Dimensity 6300 chip on board

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A15 5G budget smartphone Galaxy A15 in December 2023, and now it is already working on its successor.

We are talking about the Galaxy A16 5G. The smartphone with the model number SM-A166P appeared in the database of the Geekbench performance test. According to the report, the gadget will get a new processor - MediaTek Dimensity 6300. In comparison, the Galaxy A15 5G comes with Dimensity 6100+/Helio G99 chip (depends on the market).

Apart from this, the Galaxy A16 5G will have 6GB of RAM and Android 14 operating system. Unfortunately, there are no other details about the novelty yet.

Samsung is likely to unveil the Galaxy A16 5G before the end of this year.
