The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported the results of the strike carried out on the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea on 2 August 2024.
Here's What We Know
The missile forces of Ukraine in close co-operation with the Navy launched a strike on military facilities in Crimea, resulting in serious damage to four launchers of the S-400 Triumf surface-to-air missile system.

According to confirmed information, the Rostov-on-Don submarine (Kilo class according to NATO classification) was also destroyed in Sevastopol Bay on 2 August.
This submarine is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles, which it has repeatedly fired at Ukrainian civilian and energy facilities.
The Rostov-on-Don submarine was commissioned in 2014 and cost about $300 million. Notably, this particular vessel was damaged in a missile strike on 13 September 2023, but was repaired and underwent test trials.
This time the vessel sank and is unlikely to be repaired.
