The alleged Huawei Nova Flip has surfaced on Geekbench with a Kirin 8000 processor

Ahead of its official announcement on 5 August, the Huawei Nova Flip has appeared on Geekbench, revealing details about its processor.

Here's What We Know

According to information from Geekbench, the Nova Flip will feature a Kirin 8000 processor. This is a mid-range processor that includes a single Cortex-A77 core clocked at 2.40GHz, three additional Cortex-A77 cores clocked at 2.19GHz, and four energy-efficient Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.84GHz. An Arm Mali-G610 GPU is also mentioned.

The Kirin 8000 processor is designed for everyday tasks and not for demanding apps or high-end gaming. The Nova Flip scored 1,000 points in the single-core test and 2,419 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench 6.2.

The phone is likely to run HarmonyOS, although Geekbench may misidentify it as Android 12. The Nova Flip will also have 12GB of RAM, which is probably the maximum configuration.

The known specs of the phone include a main 6.94-inch LTPO OLED screen with a resolution of 2,690 x 1,136 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate, and an external 2.14-inch OLED screen with a 60Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will get a 32 MP front camera and a 50 MP main camera with an 8 MP ultra wide-angle camera on the rear. The 4400mAh battery will support 66W fast charging.
