Samsung launches first update for Galaxy Watch 7 in the US

Samsung has started rolling out the first software update for the Galaxy Watch 7 in the US. This update, which first appeared in South Korea last week, has firmware version L315USQU1AXG2 and is about 165MB in size.

Here's What We Know

The main purpose of the update is to improve battery stability, which should resolve the problem of rapid discharge that some users have complained about.

The update is currently only available for Bluetooth-enabled models and may not be available to all carriers in the US.

How To Switch It On

To check for the update, Galaxy Watch 7 owners should open the Galaxy Wearable app, go to "Watch Settings" and then "Software Update" and tap "Download and Install".

The Galaxy Watch Ultra has also started to receive the update, but so far only a small portion of users in the US have access to it.
