tvOS 18 will soon allow Apple TV users to open web links on iPhone

The tvOS operating system continues to evolve, and tvOS 18 will bring a new feature that will allow Apple TV users to open web links on their iPhone. The new feature will be available in upcoming updates following the release of the latest developer beta.

Here's What We Know

According to Sigmund Judge, the new feature will allow users to watch Immersive Videos from Apple TV+ using Apple Vision Pro, as well as open web links via AirDrop on iPhone or iPad. This feature will provide convenient access to headset details and other content directly from Apple TV.

tvOS 18 will also bring new features, including smart subtitles, 21:9 aspect ratio support, an updated Apple Fitness+ app, live captions for FaceTime, and new screen savers. The update will be available to users this autumn, with a public beta coming later this month.
