The film company HBO plans to wrap up the series "House of the Dragon" in its fourth season
Yesterday (5 August) on the streaming service Max (formerly HBO) released the last episode of the second season of the series "House of the Dragon" (House of the Dragon), which is a prequel to "Game of Thrones".
The authors put a dotted line in the internal confrontation of the Targaryen clan (Targaryens) and the fight against external enemies, and the audience is left to wait for the continuation of the story.

At the press conference dedicated to the finale of the second season of "House of the Dragon", showrunner of the series Ryan Condal said that the film company HBO plans to complete his story in the fourth season.
At the moment, preparations for filming the third season are underway, and if everything goes according to schedule, full production will start in early 2025.
Consequently, the third season of Dragon House will hit screens in the second half of 2026.
Ryan Condal is not yet ready to say how many episodes will be in the remaining two seasons of the series, but his team would like to keep the current pace of the narrative - about 8 episodes in each.
By the way, another Game of Thrones spin-off called A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will be released in 2025, which will tell the story of knight Duncan the Tall and his squire Egg, the future King Aegon V Targaryen.
