Meta has shut down game studio Ready at Dawn - authors of The Order: 1886

Almost every week there is news about layoffs and even complete closures of game studios, and today such news came from Meta.

Here's What We Know

Meta has decided to close the Ready at Dawn studio, which it has owned since 2020.

This company was founded in 2003 and worked on many games, but gained fame for the extremely cinematic but surprisingly short game The Order: 1886, which was released in 2016 and is still a PS4 exclusive.

According to Android Central's website, Meta is keen not to lose the talented developers from Ready at Dawn and is recommending that they move on to other Quest studio divisions.
