Realme is preparing to unveil its new 300W wired charging technology at a special event in China on 14 August. A video showing the technology in action has already appeared on the internet.

The video shows that the phone took just 35 seconds to charge from 0 to 17%. These are impressive results, especially considering that Redmi announced its 300W charging system back last year, but has yet to release a single device with this technology.

Realme already has a track record of releasing phones with 240W charging support, making the transition to 300W more realistic. Unlike the current Redmi devices that reach a maximum of 120W, Realme could be the first company to introduce 300W charging in its devices. However, the upcoming event will only feature a demonstration of the technology and not the launch of a new phone.
