Durable but difficult to repair: the metal-bodied OnePlus Nord 4 received just 4 points for repairability

Last month, OnePlus unveiled the OnePlus Nord 4 smartphone, the main feature of which was an all-metal body. How it affected its repairability - found out the technical disassembly specialist and author of YouTube channel PBKReviews.

So, disassembly of the smartphone showed that the metal case increases durability and strength, but makes it difficult to access the main components. The cover is very difficult to remove without damaging it or leaving scratches with metal tools.

At the same time, the battery and display can be easily removed in case of need for replacement. Thus, the main problem with do-it-yourself repairs will be removing the cover.

Because of this, PBKReviews gave the smartphone only 4 out of a possible 10 points for repairability.
