Insider: PlayStation is gearing up for big releases in 2025 - gamers are in for a lot of cool new products

The year 2024 turned out to be scarce on high-profile releases from Sony, the only major exclusive of the year from the internal studios of PlayStation will be a platformer Astro Bot, but even this game does not pull the title of blockbuster.

Many believe that the company is in crisis, which led to problems with the development of new products, but a reputable insider is sure that this opinion is not true.

In his podcast, the well-known insider Nate The Hate, whose words are often confirmed, said that the small number of releases in 2024 is not due to Sony's problems, but, on the contrary, with the preparation of a major line of new products for 2025.

Nate The Hate is confident that the second half of 2024 (ed: most likely September) will see several big-budget game announcements that will be released next year.

The insider believes that the lull is also due to Sony's reluctance to release new products before the start of sales of the powerful console PlayStation 5 Pro, and they, remember, should start on the eve of the winter holidays.

Among the main novelties of 2025 from PlayStation insider mentioned Death Stranding 2: On The Beach and shooter Marathon from Bungie, although, as we have already reported, the studio faced serious problems in its development.
