Apple develops Apple Glass smart glasses similar to Ray-Ban Meta
Apple is actively developing new versions of its Apple Vision smart glasses and headset. According to Mark Gurman, the company is preparing a cheaper version of Apple Vision, which may appear next year. This will be a response to the low demand for the first version of Apple Vision Pro, which costs $3,499.
Here's What We Know
The new Apple Vision model is likely to be much more affordable, but the question remains whether it will be able to gain popularity among consumers.
In addition, Apple continues to work on the second generation of the Apple Vision Pro and is experimenting with smart glasses without displays, similar to Ray-Ban Meta glasses.
The Ray-Ban Meta is still quite popular due to its ability to take photos and videos on the go, as well as use a voice assistant for conversations. The glasses are also integrated with Meta AI, which allows you to receive information about your surroundings thanks to the built-in camera.
Lightweight and affordable at $329, these glasses set the bar high for competitors. It will be interesting to see how Apple adapts these technologies in its future products.
These glasses could be a new step towards the creation of full-fledged augmented reality glasses, although for now, it is only a concept that needs more time to develop.
