The exclusive Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 Olympic Edition has appeared on online shopping sites with a price tag of up to $10,000
For the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, Samsung has created almost 17,000 exclusive Galaxy Z Flip 6 Olympic Edition smartphones. These devices were distributed to athletes and members of the "Olympic family". Now many of these phones have appeared for sale on eBay.
Here's What We Know
Some lots have already surpassed bids of $2,000, although the standard Galaxy Flip 6 is priced from $1,099, while other offers have a fixed price of $10,000 for the "Buy It Now" option. A quick search on eBay shows that many of the phones were never printed.
This comes shortly after social media sites such as TikTok filled with unboxing videos and the devices appeared at the opening ceremony, where athletes used them to record the procession of boats along the Seine.
